Title: RCD 500 to RCD 510
Post by: Radostormvr6 on August 06, 2011, 11:39:31 am: Had a offer of a RCD 510 out of a new golf R and need to know is the straight swap into a 08 R32 .

Will i need to update the can gateway, or get battery drain ?

Do you have acces to VCDS, to confirm Can-Gateway part number?

You can, you need an MDI kit, Either in centre console or glovebox version.
