Title: OEM VAG 345mm discs
Post by: chungster on August 06, 2011, 07:30:22 pm
Anyone know if genuine OEM 345mm discs have the VW/Audi logos stamped on them??

Just had a look at the set I had fitted recently by a trusted Inde and they have no markings on them so wondering if they're crap copies instead (their performance at a track day bemused me some what!)

Cheers

They should always have a part number stamped into them. It might be on the back of the bell housing on the disc though so you wouldn't see unless removed.

They're now off the car due to the shocking performance of them (previous set from factory took quite a bit of abuse)

I'll have another look but didn't see anything on them earlier when I looked

No, the part number 1K0 is there. Referring to a MK5.
