Title: Anyone Help My Car Will Not Start

Ive just tryed to start my car and all it does is make a tick noice very fast and and the lights come on the dash and flash with the noice, could it be the started motor gone. can anyone help

Check the voltage across the battery  :happy2:

Yup, sounds like your battery is flat.

The ticking is the solenoid, it draws very little current so will still turn. Get your battery on an overnight charge if you can. If you bump or jump the car off, remember that leaving it ticking over will not draw enough current from the alternator to sufficiently recharge the battery. You need the sort of revs that normal driving produces. Go for a 20 minute drive and as long as your battery isn't knackered, it'll be ok  :smiley:

Just put it on charge for the night so see if it charges
