Hi all,
Just a quick one.
Fit an RNS510 and some MFSW buttons to my 07 ED30 with midline dash.
The car is DSG so buttons and control box were easy to fit and they power/light up ok and will change volume on the RNS510.
However, no other buttons work. The * and phone buttons I'm not bothered about, or even the menu etc, but coding in the skip up/down buttons would be great if poss.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Matt

You need a Highline cluster to use the MFSW to its full potential...

Highline is needed for full functionality, there's no other way

Meh, never mind...
Wish I had known that beforehand lol.
Highline will have to be the next mod then, as planned and later abandoned!
Thanks

Matt, even though you have a midline, the up & down buttons should move you through the various parameters on the midline display; range, economy, average speed, time etc. I think you need to check your VCDS coding in case you've missed something.
I did exactly the same with my car, and before I put highline in, the right side up/down buttons worked the midline dash. The star button mutes the RNS510, and the phone button doesn't work, as my Skoda bluetooth would play with it!
It's either in the coding, or your central convenience (but I doubt that).
