Can anyone help?
I am drying to burn my files to disc to play on the RNS......such as live concerts etc.
I am using the standard software with the PC < think it's Windows Media DVD or something, pretty basic and simple.
1) I have burnt one disc, and plays fine, but no sound.
2) As advised tried it at a slower speed, will not read at all now.
Can anyone tell me the best way to burn a file to DVD for the RNS?
Many thanks

Needs to be DVD format, not just avi file on dvd or whatever. Should have the audio_ts and video_ts or whatever folders they are, needs to be in vob file format etc - look at a normal dvd for comparison.
Also need to use quality discs.

So, I can't use the files I have?
It MUST be a direct copy of an actually DVD?
Or can I convert the files I have?
-
You can try converting and as long as the final format is a DVD/VOB format. No idea if it'll work.
-
It must be structured as a DVD so that it will play it.
So as Stealth says you need an Audio_TS Folder and a Video_TS folder with the correct files in each.
The only other thing you can do is take the sound from the DVD and convert it to Mp3. But you will need software to do that.

OK......I have converted the files to _TS as follows, so the disc is as follows:
Folder - Vidio_TS
Within the folder - all the vob files etc.
It just wont read.....I'm finding the RNS very un-predicable at times. As it played a DVD fine the other week, no it does not like it. Next week it might play it lol
But on a serious note, do 99% of people on here ALWAYS use original DVD's?

I don't use the RNS to play DVDs.
