Hi All
Just joined today
Have handed back the boring company car and looking at buying a MK5 GTI
To be honest, I very nearly bought a MK4 a number of years back, but was a little ......'ahem'..... disappointed in it.
That kind of killed off my ambition to get a GTI and then by chance, a few months ago, I got a drive in a friends MK5 Edition30 and absolutely fell in love with it.
I have a 270BHP/1000kg's TVR CHimaera, so I wasn't expecting it to feel too quick, but it was great. A real great handling, crisp and sharp car.
Hopefully, as long as the search goes well, I'll be an owner of a MK5 within the next couple of weeks, so looking forward to chipping in to the forum and keeping the posts up
