				took the car out last night had 3 mates in the car. i noticed when at wot in 3rd and above the car was stuttering almost i could feel the power drop out then come back then drop out then come back.
 
 Any one got any ideas? coilpacks? sparkplugs?

				Could be soft limp mode!
 
 Suggest you do some logging with vcds  especially of fuel rail pressure requested vs actual and misfire count.

				snap fella noticed the same sort of story seems only over 60 or when pulling hard got mine booked in friday at vw one of my mates said may be something with the power boost vavle shall let u knoe how i get off lol hope it aint dear lol

				Mine did this in all gears and turned out to be a duff plug.  Id get the car scanned and see what fault code appears.

				as was mine.....nackered plugs waaay before service due :ashamed:

				cheers for the replies. i know this has been discussed before but is it worth putting uprated plugs in or just stick with the standard ones? how much should i be looking to pay?

 Using standard plugs at this stage is recommended.

				I have had the recommendation to chnage my plugs every 10,000miles running at S2+ using OEM plugs.

				lol took vw 2 days at 80+ hour only to find out duff plug but did hav 4 new coils under recall cost just over 200 mark  also mine was well under due date 4 change not a happy chappy

 Get him to do a fault scan before any logging.
