Title: How/where to update software on RNS ?

This is probably a dumb question :chicken: but I'll ask anyway...  :grin:

I have never updated the software or anything on my RNS since I've owned the car. Is it an easy thing to do, can it be done without having to visit the dealers and getting ripped off? I did ask them and they want to charge 1/2 hr labour.
