MRC seems to be the vogue for the 5 pot map.
Manual will be just a few tenths behind to 60.................... Mental!
-
Rather fast!!! :driver:
-
Stabbed........ Rat!!!

Dont let the revo boys here that :rolleye:
-
Murderingly fast. Mapped TT-RS' are complete weapons :scared:
-
Mrc are definitely up there with Revo IMHO if not better when it comes to experience on the Audi Rs stuff
-
I take it he is sitting using LC at 3k rpm at the start? Sounds quite similar to the wotbox. Stevie.

:surprised: :surprised:

That's Stage 1 :surprised: :surprised: :driver: :driver:
Hmm me thinks the next car might be an RS3 then :innocent: If i can talk the wife in to it :sad1:
-
Goes like snot off a chicken's lip.
Is the box mapped too Dave? I guess there is a thread on TTRSOC VAGOC, not been over there for a few days.
-
Lol that's a funny thread over there. Think everything is cleared up! :signLOL:
-
Incredible, i make that less than 9 seconds 0-100. :driver:
-
7.74 apparently but still slower than a GTR lol
-
The TT not being as fast as a GTR? Who cares? some seem to, I certainly don't, running costs and all. Would I have a GTR if given one..........................You bet!
Must get the car booked in with MRC...............Revo and Supercustard are not getting the same driveability apparently.
I don't believe the box is mapped Stu.
-
Just watched it again, the digital speedo is have problems keeping up.
:driver:
Fastest Salon in the west..........
-
Thats gonna result in a incredibly quick blow dry in the roadster version

Thought id have a look at their performance yable to see how they were performing on the trip and 30-130 but they've deleted the thread due to bickering. Are the TTRS boys trying to compensate for something???

That mrc thread is very amusing though. Espeially marcs replies
-
:signLOL: too much willy waving, bless.
People over here seem to appreciate each others cars for what they are alot more.
-
Glad we cleared that up. :signLOL:

Lol "to own a TTRS is embarrassing at the moment"
Blimey what was going on in the thread I wonder. Dont go on VAGOC enough unfortunately as it's really just a S3/TTRS forum!!

Why? Or is that a quote? I don't fully read such threads, they degenerate.
-
A comparison to a Megane trophy possibly :surprised:
-
Yeah it's Jamiekips reason for pulling the 30-130 thread. Not my own words obviously as I wouldn't say no to a TTRS if given one!!!! Or a GTR!
Does seem that forum has members with issues!
Just looked on MRC site. So S1 is upto 400bhp. I too would go with driveability over outright power.
But it all honesty how often will u be able to use that power in normal driving anyway?
-
Similar to be said about 330-350 in a FWD car?
Why map a Ed30? why go Stage 2/3? It releases the car that VW should have made apparently, same with the Audi apparently.
:driver:
I am not sure I will map mine, just nice to know the potential.................
-
Ps had a go in a Megane Trophy..................Focused is the word. Razor Sharp! Built well it seemed as well, felt heavy and substantial to the touch.
It would seem that Renaults leave the factory exactly as their followers would like them to leave..........
Would I have a Meg 250? Not sure.
-
Well the MT does cost over £27k now so not that cheap anymore!
Rumours are the next FRS could have between 350-400bhp stock thru the front wheels!
Do they offer SMT deals I wonder lol

Oh God no - as with any Renault, you wait for a cheap deal and rent one. Have your fun, give it back.
I got mine when they were massively discounting, handed it back 6 months later having done 7k and 6 trackdays.
Luckily because they'd stopped the discount/deals and I had decent spec, buyback price meant I got just less than £800 back of the £1000 I put down. I pretty much just handed it back having only paid the rent on it.
I loved the 250, a lot, but it was more car than I needed.
Back on the TTRS... that's damn quick. Real quick. :surprised:

s-tronic 0-100mph in 7.7, manual in 8.5.
