Title: BBC iPlayer on PS3 gone!!.??

Just updated my PS3 to 3.70,,, Now the iPlayers gone, along with 4OD, and the iTV player????   :sad1: :sad1:

Anyone else noticed this?

They sometimes do this after an update (i haven't looked at 3.70 changes) which usually requires a restart and then log on to the internet through the browser and they magically appear again. Or you can just leave it and they appear themselves within about 48hrs

I'm away from home so can't tell you exactly, but they've put all the TV channels together into one menu, it's got a picture of a TV test card.  I thought it had gone too!

Something else has happened as well which will annoy some people.

Not me before anybody jumps down my throat as I buy Blu Rays generally for the sound and quality.

My friend says you can't play some illegal downloads now.

Not sure if you changed the name of the film to something else it would work but he said he was annoyed, I said you got it for free what is there to be annoyed about :stupid:

Really, asked the guys in GAME today but they hadn't a clue. Not much luck on search forums apart from alot of people missing it too.

Tried through the internet browser but took ages and not very good!  :sad1:

I read in the papers last week that the BBC have launched a new version of iplayer specific for the ps3 it's meant to have new features etc

You need to download the new app from the ps store I think, not had chance to check yet as been away, will try this evening

Go to TV/Video Services, do you see an 4 stripey coloured icon labelled My Channels? All the channels are there on mine, you then need to install each one for them to appear directly under TV/Video Services
