Thought I best give the Eddy a mint up before I took it to the VW festival. So it started on the Friday night when I got home from work.It looked like the heavens were going to open but I had to take the chance!

I started by giving the car a good rinse off with the power wash. Then snow foamed the car
(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Fss62%2Fchipp20%2F011.jpg&hash=8df5333c294dcf9e9a63312ed1f681e293cb5fd8)
While the snow foam was doing it's thing I went round and pre sprayed the door shuts and wheel arches with watered down G101
I didn't need to do anything to the wheels apart from a blast off.I had taken them off at work and cleaned them while painting the calipers
and hubs.

I then rinsed the snow foam off then re applied it and began washing the car with my wool wash mitt and using the 2 bucket method

After the wash process was done I power washed the arches and door shuts then gave the arches a wash with an old wash mitt and G101.
I was very impressed with the way the Menzerna power lock was repelling the water

By this time the Heavens had opened :sad1:
I started drying the car off with the most expensive car dryer in the world. It hasn't even seen any leaves. That was the purpose it was bought for :signLOL:

After it was all done, it was time to put my feet up and get ready to finish the job off tomorrow.
I was up at the crack of dawn on Saturday morning.I didn't get the time to take pictures of what I did
so I will just have to talk you through it.I started by giving the car a rinse off then dry off again.
I then sprayed Autosmart Tardis to remove any tar.
The paintwork wasn't in bad condition because I look after it.I gave it a light going over with P1
then Clearkote red mousse glaze and finished with Menzerna power lock.
I used Jetseal 109 on the wheels and sheened the tyres with AG rubber cleaner.
Windows cleaned with AG glass polish. Here are a few pics when I had finished!
