Title: Front Wheel Bearing Replacment
Post by: edition_30 on August 17, 2011, 10:40:20 am
I am looking to replace my front wheel bearing and was wondering when ordering the new bearing, should I be changing anything else at the same time or does the new part come complete with everything I need.

Thanks

i did mine the weekend and the bearing kit comes with the new bolts required, dealer price is £106, i got mine off ebay for £45, was a genuine part also, i love bargains.

part number is 1T0498621, though that was for a 2005 gti, i would think the ed30 would be the same, but migt be worth checking. Here is one on fleebay not as cheap as mine though
