Title: ESP ABS and Tyre Indicator
Post by: patrickcullen87 on August 17, 2011, 09:25:47 pm
hey guys, what it is is my ESP ABS and Tyre Indicator light have been recently coming on all at once. When i  start the car up none of them show untill i have been driving for a good 15 minutes then the 3 faults all show up at once. Is this maybe a loose/faulty sensor or is all three of the settings likely to be faulty? is there any quick way for ur average person to check or will i need a garage to check? thanks  :happy2:

I had something similar on a trip to wales a while back. Scary because it was raining and three warning lights came on. Are any of them red? That would be serious. For me, it was the ABS sensor on one of the wheels. Given that the ABS, ESP and TP systems are all linked closely, a fault in any one system could disrupt all of them.

Have a look at the VCDS register and see if anyone is close enough for you to have a diagnostic scan done.

ABS senspr,

or in my case a bolt had been nipped up and severed a wire, soldered, rejoined, re-heat proof sheathed and fine :)
