Title: Newbie from South Gloucester
Post by: yellowbelly on August 21, 2011, 05:45:32 pm
Hi all, have actually been registered on here for a little while but yet to introduce myself/say hello.

I am based in South Gloucester and since selling my Mini Cooper S and getting a new job where i have a works van, me and my wife have decided to sell her Clio 182 Cup and get ourselves a Mk5 GTI.

She had a Polo Gti years ago and always loved how solid it felt in comparison to the Clio.

Anyway we will be on the hunt officially next week as money will be all sorted, looking for a tidy Mk5 that hopefully fits our criteria:

FSH - ideally FVWSH
5 Doors is a must
The larger Monza Alloys
Leather would be nice
Overall in very good condition
Not more than 100 mile radius of GL11
Upto £10,000
Colour wise i like all, the dark grey is probably my favourite.

I hope to be able to post on here more frequently once we have our GTI, but until then please get in touch if you are selling or know of someone who is selling a Mk5 that fits the above criteria

(I am new to VW's so please go easy on me when i ask questions)

Lee

Congratulations on your good taste  Once you go dub you never go back. Have you tried Pistonheads? Also Autotrader. It might take a few weeks before you find the right one but it's worth waiting. Good luck.
