As above... New Milltek for the RS3. I would imagine that the BTCC exhausts aren't road legal as they are very noisy!

I think the Milly makes the car sounds chavvy  .  Disable the left hand side exhaust flap is a better option IMO.

Just my opinion.

World takes all sorts to make it turn.  I just happen to think it detracts away from the glorious noise the 5 pot makes.

Not seen the R flapper mod.

But I believe it to be similar.

the 5 pot has a glorious noise.  That Milly ruins it IMO and sounds poor IMO.

The milly race system lets you hear the sound of that glorious 5 pot in its most unadulterated form, barring going for straight pipes. The sound of the OEM unit is the "engineered" sound.

With the milly it sounds more like the UrQuattro S1 car, just look at the vids on youtube. Trouble being is that the OEM unit is too quiet inside the car even with the sport option.

Having been sat at the side of the RAC stages in Clocaenog many a time (perks of being brought up in Mid Wales) I know the sound of the S1.  It sounded great on a rally Stage.  I once hired a brand new Orion, to follow the RAC, drove it all over, Kielder, Chatsworth, Clocaenog to name but a few.  I am 45 after all, so should remember the S1, T16's, 6R4, Manta 400's etc etc.

It is just not what I would want from a daily.  But ETTO.

Ps Michèle Mouton was my favourite driver behind Mr Mikola and Ari.

Go decat, you get the occasional pop on upshifts, and if you are fooling around in the rain, and the esp finally intervenes the horsing around it sounds like a someones just let off a round with a AK47  :signLOL:

Walther Rohrl is my fav, shame the group b cars had to die :(

I thought the RS3 launching sounded pretty cool myself.

As were talking rallying in works Audi's as an aside on this thread, was quite a fan of the real Stig myself, the 1984 World Rally Champ. Stig Blomqvist. One of the best left foot braking exponents from many years back
That said late 1985 Walter Rohrl winning in San Remo was pretty awesome, taking it to the Peugeots.
