Title: Xenons help - Removing & Re fitting
Post by: Tfsi_Mike on August 21, 2011, 08:20:31 pm

Leon will differ in minor details but some help needed.

Does anyone have any info on removing Xenon Headlamps & reffiting?

I have to take my LHD xenons out and put my Uk ones back in.

I have done Halogen Lamps swap on a Leon but I originally paid for the German Xenons to be swapped over by the dealer on my car...

Looking at my original RHD Xenons they look much more technical than the Halogens I swapped on a friends car

** Also are LHD Xenons switchable or adjustable to work as RHD ones.

Thanks in advance

Did you ever get an answer to this?

German dealer did it for me and they made a right meal of it and charged me for all three courses of said meal.

Sorted now though  :happy2:

Cheers

Do the Leon xenons have the manual mask internally for temporarilly masking the dip when you hop over La Manche - or are they electronically swapped via VCDS ('tourist mode')?
