A big thank you to Gaz-B for the VIM file....worked a treat for me....without the ignition on though!!! With the ignition on i kept on getting a SWL error about clamp state hour mode...i tried changing the time format on the dash from 24 hr to 12 hr and back again but it made no difference and from memory of a previous problem with a SWL update showing the same on screeen error message i knew i had overcome it before by leaving ignition off whilst attempting an update!
all done now and working-big thank you
