Title: Paintless dent repair - Dorset (Poole / Wimborne) - any recommendations??

As with all daily drivers my Golf is a magnet for careless dings (even idiotic ones where some muppet drops his machine polisher on the bonnet  :congrats:)..... so I'm wondering if anyone in the Dorset area has experience of, and would care to recommend a paintless dent repairers in the Poole / Wimborne area. Asides from the bonnet ding, I've a couple of dents I'd like to have popped out of the Golf, that are ideal for a PDR repairer.

There is a guy in Bournemouth who is excellent .I will get his number for you tomorrow . He did my 911 after I was shunted by a lorry and he has done spray jobs too on it .

Well, truth be told, my brother came through with a recommendation from a bodyshop friend of his and I didn't see Jamma's second post until after I'd made contact with my brother's suggestion.

Said character is appearing tonight, so I'll let you know what he's like.

Still, not bad to have another person to add to the local database.

I suppose I ought to get a before and after picture, so that you can make an informed decision on his work.

I had a rear end shunt in my 911 and Porsche wanted 1100 quid for rear bumper and spray. I took it to him, its plastic so he repaired it and sprayed it for 350 and it was a great job. I went back 6 months ago and had bonnet and mirrors resprayed also. Fab job.

Just to be sure there's no offence taken, I'm not doubting the workmanship of Jamma's contact, I just had a slightly earlier tip-off so I dropped the guy a call.

For clarity, the chap I'm using is a paintless dent repairer - basically a mobile panel beater, and doesn't do paint of any variety. He's used by local bodyshops to pop dents out to avoid using a more traditional panel beating, filler and paint approach.

Anyhow, here's the ding as it stands (bit of a pig to photo, so not overly clear):

I've used a company called Dentmagic a few times now and they are fantastic! They work the dent out so no repair or paint. They are based in Bristol but do travel but i'm not sure how far sorry.  :happy2:
