Title: iPod/iPhone override stereo annoying problem...

Does anyone on here know if it is possible to control your iPod/iPhone when it is plugged into the standard VW stereo?

I have looked about and there is nothing specific to say it can be done on an iPhone 4 running iOs4> but I am pretty sure someone has designed a bit of software that combats this annoying safety feature that VW and probably other cars have in place.

I once figured out a way of overriding it by unplugging it while its playing and plugging back in, turning it sideways and you would have control over the cover flow. That has stopped working probably due to updates recently.

I will have a hunt around the jailbreak forums and post back if i find anything but if somebody already knows then that would be ace!

I use Music Controls Pro (cydia app). 

Without it I couldn't play music via the spotify app when I plugged my iPhone into the stereo - it defaults to the iPod every time!!!!
