i want to lower my 05 gti with the standard shocks/struts
my question is whats the best springs to go for?
and will they be more comfotable then coilovers?
i was thinking around 20 or 30mm
:happy2:

eibach sportline get my vote, thats what I've got on, still as comfortable as the standard springs, will give the drop you are after :happy2:
-
eibach sportline
cheers

I'm going for Eibach Sportline, Larkspeed (http://www.larkspeed.com/) are the cheapest place to get them, if you want shocks to match there's a seller on ebay doing Eibach Pro Dampers for £300 :happy2:
-
how low have you gone?
-
I measured 27mm
-
just had a look on larkspeed £121
eibach sportline 25mm front 20mm rear
:happy2:

any pics of these i also want some, but im not sure if it will be low enough?

You get a decent 30mm lower on H&R springs - and the ride is perfect - exactly how the gti should be. Slightly firmer without being crashy :congrats:
-
They're 80 quid more than Eibach though
-
I've got AP -20mm on mine and can't fault them :happy2:

You'll see the difference
