Title: What's need for IPOD armrest to MDI armrest?

I currently have and Armrest Ipod dock and would like to change to MDI and extend the cable to the cup holder...What is needed for this??

Also My ipod dock currently isn't working and I took it to VW who said because a previous owner Retro fitted it they can't fix it? for some reason? can anyone shed any light??

your first pointer maybe what head unit do you have?? as the mdi is not compatable on early head units

the ipod docks suffer a lot with dry joins

How do I find out what version my rns510 is? It plays jut really distorted and quiet!
