No problem Steve, if you do get it earlier than expected and fancy a blast Ive just booked Snetterton 300 on the 8th Sep (Club MSV) :happy2:
-
Looks like we are back on Neil, Kev has agreed to do the clutch next Monday if it arrives on Friday which is the new due date.
Also he's agreed to do track support at Snetterton if you're interested in that :happy2:
-
Updated the thread for the new venue and date, I am now booked into Snentteron as well :driver: :driver:
-
was after a trackday early september but am in kenya from the 6th, so no good for me. the new 300 track loos awesome. Hugely improved from the previous simple layout
-
I'm a little bit sad that the track no longer looks like a schlong.
I've only done the old track, which was interesting because of its technical nature around the 'bell end', but painful in the Clio up and down the 'shaft' as was a bit flat from 90mph upwards.... biiiiig power circuit. The new layout looks far better and feedback from friends who've done it are pretty much that it's gone from something that was a decent if it was a cheap day out, to a 'must do' day.
*Beavis and Butthead mode - huh huh huh huh huh!!

Had a great day and the car went really well, only two things came past me in the day, a Radical SSR and full race spec Ferrari 458 in white
Worked on some setting with KPM at the track which really helped too :driver:
Will try to get some video up tonight :happy2:
-
I was thinking.....aren't you supposed to bed that clutch/flywheel in before giving it some abuse :signLOL:
-
Had a great day at Snetterton yesterday, was on track with Steve and had the lads from KPM racing working their magic, ended up with 3 degrees camber on the front and stiffer rear which transformed the car :happy2:

Shame i couldn't make it, would of been a good crack chasing you guys around track but my car was in garage trying to sort my brake problem out :sad1:
Had brake fluid changed 4 times now and my master cylinder changed this week and i still have a sh*tty pedal feel, after about 8 laps around silverstone no brakes at all :scared: this has happened 3 times now
twice at Silverstone and once at Spa !!!!!
