Title: Nice 'n' Shiny
Post by: vRS Carl on August 28, 2011, 12:47:20 pm
Was out in the woods today and as i'd cleaned it yesterday thought i'd take some more pics of the Assassin. The Anthracite Grey looks awesome when it's all cleaned and the wax has brought  a nice deep shine to it.

And they say you can't polish a turd.....

Joking aside, that looks very clean. I think skoda have pretty much nailed the front end... and i like that extra splitter you've put on (whats that from?)

You can also roll it in Glitter though although it will still stink :booty:

Thanks :happy2:

It's a marmite thing some like it some don't. But i do think it makes the front end look better. It is from a company called Maxton Design.

Got it from eBay and it's very well manufactured and quite a hefty piece of ABS plastic. I am contemplating colour coding it but after cleaning the car etc and seeing how it looks i may just leave as is.

Now that's a sinister looking predator! Some Octy's can look like a hearse, this one's more of a shark. Liking very much  The splitter is great.

Was once 'RashCupras' Vr MkII is now my best mate 'Nickb's 20vT, he's a mkII nut and it's his baby.  It's an animal too!  :driver:

He's based in Tidworth, Salisbury and lives in Tiverton  :happy2:

Not same guy then. But his was something similar to that spec. His pure aim was to get it to run a sub 11 sec 1/4 mile. He didn't want to go quicker just wanted sub 11 sec and last i heard he had got it down to 11.7. IIRC he had a Corrado VR6 engine in it but might be wrong. It was fcuking quick though and left my Stage 2+ vRS for dead.
