Title: Front drop links
Post by: SL03 JOE on August 28, 2011, 07:40:49 pm
hi there im looking for a good place to get some strong Adjustable front drop links and possibly some rear ones at a later date.

Reason for this is because i've tryed to fit my coilovers today and the spline in both slide stripped the thread! Resulting in not being able to fit them

but hopefully i can just just these off or w.e and just replace with new shiny and better ones

Also does anyone know the Torque size that is in the center of the drop link bolt?
(Tried T30 it gripped then slipped and rounded all the thread off the inside of the bolt)

It's a multi spline bit rather than torx. Can't remember the exact size, 8 or 10.

Use some mole grips on the links to hold the centre, or just cut them off. Quite common for them not to come off very easily.
