Title: Hiya from bonnie scotland
Post by: gaz b on March 29, 2009, 04:19:55 pm
Hi peeps,
Just checking in and getting my post count off of zero.

I am sure this will be the first of many posts. :signLOL:

I take delivery of my tornado red GTI on wednesday. just waiting for the p/p to get transfered and I cant wait. I have been a golf fan for many years and have always wanted a mk V , having previously owned 2 mk2 big bumpers, a mk1 soft top and a mk4 GTI.

My mkV is 5 door in tornado red with winter pack,in dash changer, telephone prep and rear PDC. I have already bought a set of 18" monza 2's to replace the standard 17's. Let the modding begin! :happy2:

I will post up pics as soon as I take delivery.   :driver:

Take it easy,
                  Gary   :drinking:

It's cool about the thread hijack Toast and VC. It really is a small world. I work pretty much all over Scotland and the North of England so I am in Ayrshire quite alot. I will keep my eyes open for members cars. 8)

Hi Cochese, I certainly am buddy :jumpmove:. Tried all day to get tickets the day they went on sale with no joy. I ended up having to join the official fan club to get tickets. :fighting2:    Can't wait though, I have been a masive fan for ages and didn't think I was going to get to see them live! :jumping:

Are you going yourself mate? :drinking:

^^No 'fraid not.  I saw them a few years ago at the SECC and they were brilliant even in that cavernous sh*thole. I'm only about 15 mins walk from hampden and can hear most of the concerts, so I'll be able to hear them a little. :signLOL:

Hey fellas,
I'm afraid my Monza's ain't genuine VW cochese. I got them on el tiniterweb. £530 delivered with better tyres than the budget ones (Khumo) and lockers. The VW garage where I bought the car fitted them for me while the car was waiting to be picked up. Would have been seriously pushing the budget had I bought them brand from VW.  Although the aint genuine they look the part and (not IF) WHEN the missus kerbs them it won't break mt heart.   :scared:

Cheers VC.  I would have been polishing the car today but it's too hot! Ha! HOT- in Scotland  :surprised:

Gracias John_o :happy2:, where do you live now?
