Title: Edition 30 mats

Hi all

My drivers side carpet mat is now starting to look a bit worse for wear on my Eddie and I'd like to buy a new set....ideally just the fronts.

Any idea if these are still available at the dealers and if so can you just buy the fronts and how much for the 2 or 4?

I'm sure the price is going to be crazy!!   :rolleye:

The last time i asked at the dealer it was £90 for the front 2!  :grin: :grin:

Jeez!! I'll have to stop looking down at my feet and concentrate more on the road ahead at that price!!

I'm booked in tomorrow to hopefully sort out my dodgy + paddle so will enquire about mats and then quietly slide out the door if that's the price  :surprised:

I'd go with some Autostyle ones tbh, much better quality and you can have the 'edition 30' script badge woven in if you want  :happy2:

Were the original Edition 30 mats the ones with the GTI logo in red?

No, standard ED30 mats were plain with a red edging, the ones with 'GTI' stitched in were a dealer purchase mat for around £70 for all 4 iirc  :happy2:

I've only got plain black in mine! Think the dealer must of had them away!!!
