Hello all
After the purchase of my C2S modifying has taken a back seat. However I purchased my wife a GT Sport DSG TDI 140. It's a great car, but a bit lacking in performance, especially after my history of cars -even my wife that complains about the lack of power. It's great car in every other way, and our 4th MKV -GTI, R32, ED30. We both love the MPG!
Anyone have experience of mapping a DSG 140? Any feedback?

ask in the octyII section of briskoda and you'll be swamped with guys who have done it.

Thanks. I'm not a member over there though.
Anyone?

No worries. Thought it might have been more use since theres not much diesel drivers non here

Although its not a DSG, I have just gone to stage 1 on our PD140 GT, initially I was a bit disappointed, but now that the ECU seems to have adapted it is big improvement over standard.
I specifically wanted a smooth delivery throughout the rev range, this is something I have definitely got, I would be very interested in seeing a graph on a dyno run. The best way to describe it, is it's not in your face, infact its more like driving a CR than PD, but when you spool up in a low gear it shifts, and you reach target speed very quickly. No difference in mpg yet but I have only covered a 100 miles or so since uploading the remap.

I am umming and ahhing about this too because of the step down in standard power over my last few cars. I have been looking at the plug and play jobbies, these any good?

What sort of money is it bud? If you don't mind me asking!

It's a shame this topic wasn't a week earlier as you could have benefited from the Shark Performance summer sale and got a stage 1 remap for the PD140 for £199....... :surprised:
But, unfortunately that offer ended on Monday. :sad1:

£300. I've used Simon for loads of my cars, his re-maps are spot on, as has been proved on a rolling road. He also comes to you.

All done. Very pleased with results, even though I've only done a couple of miles in it - a lot smoother, picks up better when pulling away, and pulls hard all the way. I'll give a full write up after the weekend. :happy2:
