Title: Need help

I've got a lumix TZ10 which is a great little camera and a nikon d40 with kit lens and a 70-300 lens. My trouble is I've saved £300 and shall I sell my d40 and buy a d3100 with my savings and cash from my d40 ??? or spend on lenses and keep my d40 ???
I mostly take sport/landscape/general family snaps

Keep the D40 - its a good little body and buy a 50mm F1.4 AFS

Awesomely awesome little lens. the D3100 wont offer much over the D40 where as the 50 will. I just forced my mate in to buying one. The conversation went along the lines of  ME "Here have a shot of this" Him "oooh, Im having one of these!"
