Title: steering wheel help please

hi there guys just need abit of help with a steering wheel i have got a 2005 1.9 tdi sport with a  3  bar steering wheel but with no multifunction on it and i have just got my self a GTI steering wheel with multifunction pads with the airbag and the yellow wire what goes in the the airbag and the plug behind the steering wheel. My question is if i plug it in will the multifunction work or will i need to get something els to make it work?

the only cars that i am aware of that are just in need ot the steering wheel is the dsg cars as the steering wheel already has the correct controller in. for you id imagine you would need a new steering wheel controller. Search buttons is your friend. loads threads about this and what people have had to do :happy2:
