I realise this is an old post, but I didn't want to start a new thread when I realise there is one here, I would like to replace my ed30 mats. I want the ones the car came with, with the red edging.
In all my searches I only seem to get the mats with GTI in red embroiled into them.
Can somebody point me in the right direction?
Cheers guys

I'm shure you can still get them from the dealers. Ring you'r local one guys. :happy2:

Tried many times at different dealers. My local VW parts department tried many different sources but to no avail. They do not make them anymore, from what I have been told. You'll have to go ebay or breakers route. I gave mine a good steam clean and died the edging in places where it had faded. Looked loads better but the dye came off eventually.

Impossible to find OEM ones for my Eddy so gave up and got some GTI ones from the stealers.

Also got some non OEM ones (with Red stitching around the edge) from a company on the interweb, half the price but not as good TBH.

I thought VW kept parts for up to 10 years after they stopped production of a car?.

Will the edition35 ones fit?

They must keep a certain amount of spares, even for their Limited Edition cars, but as far as floor mats go (according to my VW Main Dealer) No!
