I've got a very minor one of about 5 ml in one week <--- I collected in a white plastic tub while in my garage. I always keep some brown cardboard on the floor beneath the engine so I can spot any leaks.
She's booked into my VW dealer's next week for a look. We both feel fairly certain it's DSG oil also from its position near 'axle' on passenger side.
She had a DSG service not long ago and has done 94k miles from new.
Any info or experience of same?

Driveshaft oil seal?

Driveshaft oil seal?
Mine is leaking, passenger side booked in for repair.

My vote would be driveshaft oil seal too. Certainly a cheap place to start. I presume it's not the filter housing leaking (on top of the gearbox), and the oil running down the back of the box?

Driveshaft oil seal is what my VW dealer's workshop manager thought as a possibility too.
I'll obviously post here what it turns out to be. :happy2:

Turns out to be a seal in the DSG bung, so an easy one and not an expensive problem. They'll get the parts in overnight and I'm booked in very first job tomorrow. :jumpmove:
Something which comes to mind is that I'm very glad I didn't go for the 1K0825237P undertray because it would have concealed the leak and I may not have discovered the leak until more damage was done.

is this a common thing with DSG??

is this a common thing with DSG??
....I don't think so. I have had 3 DSG oil changes in 95,000 miles, so the bung has seen action.

Hmmmm it was just the other day I noticed the same I think (well, front-mid passenger side)
It was only the size of a two pence piece, but the block paving was spotless till then.
I cleaned it up and I have not seen anything since (either on the drive or in the garage)
I'll keep an eye on it now :scared:
