Title: mk5 technical stuff
Post by: em2evol on September 09, 2011, 04:22:52 pm
How do you guys get to know how to do all the amazing stuff you do on your cars?? I always feel like a total pleb asking the most plebby questions when you're all chatting about stuff I have no idea about  :signLOL:

I would like to learn... Is it through trial and error, books, or watching others?? I think it's great, wish I could join in with the banter  :sad1:

most things with me is just get stuck in to it but take your time as most things on a car unbolt and go back on the same way they came off. Read a few how to guides or a haynes manuel and some good tools and get stuck in   before doing a job research it first so at least you have some kind of a guide oh and if you need to know how do things just ask  :grouphug:

Thanks guys  I do a bit of work on my bike but find that easier, especially following the Haynes manual... And the cosmetic stuff is simple compared to cars! But yeah, will give it a try - I know there's lots of helpful guides on here so will just have to be brave... and if it goes wrong I'll blame you lot!  Haha
