Title: Remap Science
Post by: vRS_Pagey on September 10, 2011, 04:31:50 pm
Anyone heard or dealt with them?  I have a mate who is looking to get his Citrus 2.2 hdi done and they are quoting 200 quid for a mobile service.  Imo, I'm not convinced, tbh the website looks a bit rubbish and in the FAQ's they are almost endorsing concealing the mod from the insurance as they claim it is undetectable.......

Wouldn't risk it either. If they want a mobile one maybe celtic tuning? but i know there hit and miss depends what area your in to if its any good.

To be honest not something you want to go cheap on not like filter where can just change it, could cause more damage than good.

Something we wrote to show the difference between poor and good quality software:

Send him the links and he should find a tuner in his area that can provide a good quality product at a good price. Hope the above can help him  :happy2:

Thanks for the replys guys, personally I think he should steer clear but not because of they offer mobile tuning.  I have and Angel Tuning remap on the vRS which was done at my house and it's fantastic, been running it for over 2 years now with no issues.

My friend had his Peugeot 307 remapped there. Took them 6hrs to do it as the removed the old map and couldn't get ANY map back on it. Eventually sorted it after 5hrs.
Poor customer service, didnt even admit they had broken it for 3hrs.

My advice - STAY WELL AWAY!
