Great minds think alike  :signLOL:

Good guide.....only question I have.....is there glue/clips holding the middle up? or does it just drop down?

It just drops down (definitely helps if there are 2 of you doing it)

I'm collecting one shortly..... :signLOL: is this going to fit in the golf OK?

It fits in, just.... again helps if you have two people. Are you driving far??  :signLOL:

When i picked mine up it was resting on the tops of the chairs and our heads! Just slide it in as if you were going to put in properly. The "wings" will bend slightly (the bits that go around the windows)

Hours drive lol

Are the a card backing? bend to much and it will snap? do you have any nice tips for cleaning them?

Yea its just a card type material underneath. It will bend to a degree but re-forms itself, you shouldnt have to bend if that much to snap it. I got my black roofliner out of a smashed ed30, the passenger door was caved in and the airbags had gone off but it was all fine!

Got the lot.....handles, visors, pillars lights etc :) Mint too......just one part (rear bit) will need replacing due to back end crash.

Bargain too. Just dusty and needs a clean - not stained, scrached or anything.

The C pillar? I just cleaned mine with hot soapy water and rung the cloth out, wiped over a few times and left to air dry. How much you get it for?

Not sure which part is damage yet.....know its a rear piece of plastic. Said easy to warm up and bend back...so he said.

Got any pics to show how different the roof linings are?
Mine is that cheap grey looking interior, would like it darker to be honest.

Tell me about it.

Here's one for you......

Dashboards....are the ALL the same (colour)

If you get a GTI for example, the top edge of the door trims are like a black colour. Where on std models all door cards are one colour......hence why I ask, with the GTI door cards (black tops) does the dash colour change at all?
