Title: My rides (ex rides and coming up rides) lol

Not really posted any pics before - not had chance. Some pics are on my home PC which I will get and update later......you will see some strange differences. yes some  :stupid: buys.

1) MK2 Astra < My first car, 17 killer insurance - so yes, it was a fully loaded GTE look-a-like  :signLOL:

2) Renault 5 < Brough out of DESIRE and it turned out to be a shed. Died after a week. Great fun though

3) Fiesta RS Turbo < Still have soft spot for this  :love:

4)  :surprised: How did I forget......my 2 years at Rover Group  :smiley: employee car scheme

5) Citroen Saxo VTR < Don't knock her!! 6 years old......from new and covered......390,000 miles  :jumping:
6) Spare car - Lotus Exige < BEST THING I HAVE EVER DRIVEN  :surprised: :surprised: took my breath away. In my opinion, the most FUN you will ever get in a car.

7) Audi RS4 < Shortly owned......as then come the family house and billllllls

Nice collection.
Could you see yourself going back to Ford or are you happy with VW now then?

Has to be VW.......has everything I want/need!! Would love to try a R32.......buy one, mod it up to some serious BHP, but it's not not practical.

VW GT TDI is perfect for me....

- Economical
- Love the drive of it
- Packed full of goodies
- Love the look....could be sportier
- and after the accident......wow! the VW takes it on the chin. Feel so safe in it
- Just alround great for the family.

Had some fun......now most of the ££ goes on the son, who has already informed me he wants a Lambo for his 21st  :signLOL:

It was all about what come up at the right time.....

Astra, was just quick first car < needed to get on the road asap, plus needed to build the No Claims fast

Fiesta < ALWAYS wanted a turbo....didn't know why lol I was young and though you were know one without one lol

Rover < well.....started at Rover, employee car scheme could not pass it up Brand new £112 per month, fully loaded, free insurance, fully serviced each year, tax the works. no catch, min 6 mths ownership could swap it/change it....

Citroen < at the time seemed the in thing.

Lotus < you would have had it, if you knew the bargain I had on it lol

RS <  :drool: Always wanted one

Golf < Well, never drove one, always seen them about......was a BIG gamble for me! and I'm glad I took it.

New Golf is collected Saturday. Been a big delay down to insurance, finally (2weeks) got the payout I wanted  :smiley:

50% down, rest of collection
Insurance starts Saturday morning 10am

Never thought I would be back in a Golf...due to £££ and the rapests they call insurance lol

However, we finally found a middle ground got to a fair price, were ALL happy and I have a new GTi (wish) its a GT TDI  :smiley:
