Well it's been a few weeks now since The Golf went and i miss it badly I have to say.  So I thought i'd post a little thread to it.

i like that coulour mini and it looks good with the cooper works wheels

Thanks buddy.  I only bought it cos of the way it looked.  A standard one just wouldn't cut it!

The Golf was my weekend toy driven daily by my g/f.  She used to do about 3 miles per day tops in it and in the nearly 3 years I owned it we put 10k on the clock.  It wasn't used enough to warrant the cost and I also needed the capital tied up in it to put towards my new company car as work have changed the scheme on me  :sad:

So by changing the Golf for the Mini means I can release the funds I need to get me the car I want rather than having the weekend toy, which in theory never got used at the weekends anyway!

always baffled why they kept the name mini...they're massive in comparison!

my father in law has a bright yellow rag top mini he bought last year with the black detailing stripes...

there are some cars men shouldnt own...a drop top yellow mini is one of them  :grin:

still a cool car though!

The Mini aint a bad car in fairness.  It needs the blower/charger on it really but then that defeats the object of what I've done!!  It does handle very very well but calling it a mini is just a joke.  If I remember rightly it weighs about 1200kg....in comparison to the Golf's 1380!  Not exactly Mini really.

The Mini will continue to be modded I'm sure although I was told it wasn't being modified!!  It's actually changed since we bought it so that rule went out the window pretty quickly!!

Roll on the next month or so, when I can get rid of the Audi and get my new toy!!

I'm getting a Candy White Leon Cupra K1.  I've already sorted wheels, suspension and reg plate!!  Gonna be going full turbo back/race cat/ non res Miltek and custom map on it.  19's and Eibachs.

My stereo will transfer across as well as speakers etc.

Can't wait. :happy2: :happy2:

When it finally arrives, only another 5k miles to do in the Audi before it does, I'll stick up pictures no problem.

my friend has a K1 in dandy candy, very smart looking car!!  :happy2:

very fast too in std form! 250 i think.  :smiley:

Yeh Seat say it's 240 but at the end of the day it's the ED30/S3 Engine which we are all familliar with.  I'm hoping to see around 300 from the large bore downpipe, sports cat, exhaust and Map.  I'll be happy with that figure!

Nice choice. You should see more than 300 BHP with the mods you have planned  :evilgrin:
