Title: Private Sale - Test Drive

Folks,

Unless i'm missing something, how do i insure two vehicles that i will be test driving only on Saturday? I obviously want to get a feel for the car before i leave a deposit, but given that i don't have insurance, how will this work?

Day insurance? would be only real option if you havent got insurance yourself.

Either call your insurance company and see if they will add it as a temp car for the day (a lot won't) or use the short term internet based car insurance companies like insure4aday.co.uk

I'm direct line an can defo get insured on a daily/weekend basis

Used to get 7 days free insurance cover with a HPI check,
Might be worth checking if they still offer it!
