Hi guys some of you are aware what I drive and Ive been having trouble with poor starting first thing on a morning(cold start)
Someone told me the other day have you tried taking the plug out to the coolant temp sensor and starting it up??? never thought owt of it but tried it today and it fired up first time no problem at all
WHY!!
What does this tell me?? I don't know where to go from here to get my car back to starting properly...
In a nutshell can this be mapped out?

Its an easy software fix, just need to edit one of the maps. Have done this quite a few times for people.

Try a new temp sensor first. They can also affect hot starting if they are faulty.
If its not the sensor, they I'm sure it could be mapped out.

Cheers Dave
Cheers Alex temp sensor is about 4 weeks old so other than that been a faulty one it must be something else??

You can get it mapped out, I asked a tuner/local garage the same question as mine seemed to struggle on a couple of mornings, apparently its fairly common
