The car was only on the road for 6 weeks before local buisness man's wife decided it was not for her and she wanted a Q7! It was not practical for her with kids! Car is fully specced up and was £32k new! It is like brand new with only 1500 miles!

A Q7 been the most ugly car on the road, or is that the X6

the mrs had a sportback for a few months - was one of the first...til the handbrake gave way and it rolled down a hill hitting parked cars, taking out a wall and finishing in a garden... had everything replaced and repaired inc under the car with the only panel saved being the roof, then gave it back to the dealership for £1k less than we bought it for due to waiting lists

she always leaves her car in gear now... i wonder where that a3 is now?  :chicken:

i don't think you'll get bored of its performance at all, maybe the styling in time though

I think you really need to drive the S3 mate as it does not compair to a normal A3! It ticks all the boxes the golf didn't for me!

Looks very nice.
I nearly took the plunge and got one myself 2 years ago - fell in love with the new TT instead.
You will love the 4wd over the ED30

It is just a shame the R32's are so much to tax! I did love my R32 just did not want to get stuck with a car that was hard to sell on!

I don't know what they have done with the new S3 but it sounds great with the R32 burble from the 2.0T! The steering and gear change is so refined aswell and the car feels so planted on the road! It is heads above the R32 and I thought that was great!

I've done both, modded the Ed30 and the S3 and its a close run thing :happy2:

but, once you go beyond stg1 in the ED30 traction is an issue, don't want to start a bun fight, but with the S3 it isn't. As I said before you will never get that light on its feet feel you get with the ED30, but you pay your money and make your choice
