They look lit up from behind. Glow in the dark paint wouldn't be so bright. My mate used to have it on a show car back in the day. Had to leave it out all day in sun for paint to charge lol.

Pause it at 0:24, you can make out the 'dark' spokes and the light coming from behind.

Would be pretty cool in red on the GTI :happy2:
