Ah shame... Did you speak to him at all? Looks a good spec and history and from what I can tell from his posting history it seems a good straight car with no faults. Shame its red but for the price I can get over it :)

Mate red is the fastest colour!

and with those xenon lights its the best combination

let me guess... you bought a red one? :)

Yes i wanted xenon and dsg and 3dr.. ideally wanted cloth too but im sure I'll find someone to swap that with later on.

Thing is Im a car detailer and silver and grey are nice and easy to keep looking nice.. Non metallic red is one of the harder colours to keep swirl free TBH. Was probably my least favourite option :(

Car dealer you say, no wonder the mods post raped you.  :fighting2:

Yep red is a bitch to keep lookin good but DAMN they do look crisp when clean..

Mate has an Edition 30 DSG which has had to have a mechatronics unit replaced!! £600 iirc..  Although his was a dealer purchase and under warranty.

Put me right off dsg but I would deffo get a Warranty direct policy if buying a private sale dsg motor..

detailer.... glorified cleaner :)

There are horror stories for any car / gearbox. My M3 needed a new diff and drive shafts etc. Stuff happens... Not seen a long line of broken DSGs though and its the option I wanted.
