Will the MDI charger the newer range of iPod's?
Need to replace my iPod nano (2nd gen) with the latest version due to the very poor sound quality of the 2nd gen....
-
Yes. MDI supports 5V charging and will charge ALL new iPods/iPhones
-
It doesn't charge me iPhone 4 though!
-
It should....it charges mine?
-
Hmmm, I'll have to double check but I'm sure it does'nt charge it..
-
It should....it charges mine

And so does mine, all be it slowly :happy2:
-
Mine does completely normally (iPhone)
MDI from Nick over on R32OC along with the RNS510!
-
charges my IPhone 3 and 4 no problems.
-
There is an update for the MDI from VW you need to download it to a usb stick then get your usb lead in the MDI and download the update.
Look on My-GTI-com for the update of the MDI
Damoegan may have the old update which is stopping the Iphone charging, I do know a few in the past who have had this problem.
