Title: snow time

always been ocd with cleaning,(won show on shine with my mk2 gti. http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,32681.0.html
 well in my opinion but having looked at some on here i think im slacking. How good are these snow foam things. And what would people recomend?

Pretty much a standard part of the wash process in these parts these days.

I have autoperfection lance and can't compare it to any other but have had no issues with it, makes great foam.

Im just trying autobrite foam and will be using it this week, will post some pics  :happy2:

Come from autoperfection foam that has worked really really well for the price  :happy2:

yeah think its time i tryed one keep up with the times, fancy having it profesional detailed after the winter, friend of a friend does the top gear cars. some pics will be very welcome. thanks

During winter or when very rushed, I use it as a sort of touchless wash. Otherwise it's my routine prewash stage.

I use it during winter or when my car is very very dirty if its not any of the previous it stays in the garage, imo its not the miracle stage that everyone thinks it is :happy2:

This was the foam on my car on Monday :P

Most foams are useless as cleaners though, so make sure you buy an effective one, otherwise you're just making a big mess!

The two most effective ones I've used are Autobrite's Magifoam, and Bilt Hamber's Auto Foam.  They do actually clean, where as most just lift the dirt your pressure washer would have anyway...
