Title: VCDS - Anyone have any access to one? - HELP PLEASE

Air bag light is on, anyone any ideas of where to get the light switched off for less than the stealers want, they want 30 mins labour, at £42...

It's is very difficult and time consuming though. (3minutes max)

my days, the bloke said we charge an hours labour!! I said hold on a min mate, you sure you can't do it cheaper than that, he went away and said that as i was ordering parts too he could do it for 30 mins labour at £42....

I'll do it for free. It's a 5 minute job.

Find your nearest VCDS member & sorted. VW seem to charge a standard £40 fee for any coding changes. It soon adds up to be cheaper to buy a VCDS cable.
