Silly question indeed but I am a master of audio and electronics, not engines so please be gentle if this sound ridiculous !!!!

Can a standard 1.9 SDi be upgraded to a TDi by adding a turbo and the necessary bits???

I'd imagine for the costs involved it would be cheaper to sell up and buy a 1.9 or 2.0 TDI :happy2:
