Title: FIFA 12 - Anyone Playing?

What are the initial thoughts on FIFA 12?

I have heard that the dribbling had been slightly spoilt, as had the 'easier approach' to defending on the Demo EA put out. What's it like in the actual release?

I'm a big FIFA 11 online user on the Playstation 3 and will get 12 even if it's not much better than 11 tbh. Be good to know what the thoughts are of people that are already playing it?  :happy2:

Retail version isn't out until Friday so I doubt anyone has got a copy yet.

I wasn't to impressed with the demo, attacking is about the same as it's always been but I didn't get on with the defending as they've swapped all the buttons about.

as a pro evo convert i presume you can still se the buttons as per pro evo if you want to?

so is anyone else finding this a lot harder than older versions? just about finding my feet on professsional level but aint going anywhere near world class as will get tonked i reckon

^ It's nearly ruined berg. They very nearly ruined it....

It's quite different when you haven't got possession and it makes for quite a realistic experience, but hard doesn't cover it. Landing around 3% of slide tackles is also frustrating  :fighting:  :laugh:

I haven't even thought about venturing online yet till I can string out some results against the AI. Steepest FIFA learning curve for a while...  :popcornsoda:

Got tonked 3-0 last night by Bilbao - and that was at 1/2 time!

Problem is you have to play Pro as Semi-Pro is too easy but on Pro I really struggle to carve out a lot of opportunities most I have scored is 3-0 - but am getting a bit better

It's even more frustrating than 11, which has taken some doing.
I can't explain how many penalties I've conceded by pressing 'O' which is the safer tackle. It must be triple figures now and I've not played that many games at all...

I know what you mean against sides like Bilbao  :grin: I've been Barca against of Southend United and scraped 2-1 wins, and I mean scraped. It's just humiliating as I was never bad at FIFA 11 and earlier. This makes you out to be an NFL gamer....  :fighting:

do you find there is little movement from the players ahead of you when you have ball in opponents half? also sooo many passes get cut out if you dont weight them exactly right. NFL gamer?
