Watch blu rays through the ps3 so need some reasonable sound but dont need a quality 5.1 system as I live in a terrace house the front room is not big enough to justify the decibels

cheers, looks an interesting concept but my tv is only rented, as i like to keep upgrading every 17 months, so noit sure want to bolt something onto the back of it in case mark it and also would have to take it off again in a few months.
any other traditional systems you are aware of? re budget not sure between £150-300 i guess. cheers.

Bit different but the beatbox by dre made by monster cable is awesome. Just connect with 3.5mm cable. Option to use As iPod/phone too £250 - £350 where stocked

i have a yamaha ysp 600 soundbar and honestly its awesome.think i paid £250 and i swear you wont regret it.

for your setup a yamaha soundbar sounds like the most obvious choice. if you have a square room you can even set it up to do 5.1 (sort of) by bouncing the sound off the walls.

heard bad things about the sony soundbar but maybe the yamaha one is made of sterner stuff? will check them out thanks guys
