Title: Clay bar review
Post by: Carrera2RS on September 27, 2011, 10:44:52 am

It actually fitted with my experience of using Zymol clay and lube vs Maguiars and detail (I didnt like Meguiars)

I used the last of a bar I bought in 1998 over the last clay session. Anyone tried Bilt Hamber soft ?

That's an old and IMO a poor review. No info as to why/what etc - just this is the test and these are the results.

I still like the clay bar that comes in meg's smooth surface kit - it's a little more aggressive but have yet to have paint marring. I do like sonus but I think my next one will be bilt hamber, as they use water as lube!

I've used bilt hammer original and found it excellent if a little bit hard before being worked, so I imagine the bilt hammer soft would be better.
