Hi all,
Just purchased some Finishkare 1000 and Meguiars Foam Applicators and just wanting to get some more advice. I assume I can only use the applicator pads once with the Finnishkare even though they are washable. Also for future application a friend recommended 100% cotton tshirts with the threading cut off.
I'm by no means a cheapskate but would like to get good products for the job but save some pennies too. lol
Thanks for any tips. Be good to get some feedback from Finishkare users.
Thanks,
C

Some cheap applicators will mark your paintwork. For the sake of a few pence, I'd stick to decent ones. Tesco do a good 3 pack for £3.
A good way to test effectiveness, is to rub any applicators on a blank CD. If they scratch it, then they could well scratch your clearcoat, so are no good.
You can clean them out, I normally use Washing Up Liquid, but rarely do so, especially on other peoples' cars.
Things like tyre dressing applicators can be re-used though.

As above, applicators can be reused. I tend to buy in packs of 6, so cheaper. As above, fairy liquid is fine in removing wax/sealant residue and I do this with hot water. Never had problems with this method.
