Title: Brake swerve?
Post by: stealthwolf on September 29, 2011, 01:46:47 pm
Recently on DC and had to brake hard. The car started swerving side to side, very gently but noticeably. Traction control light wasn't flashing. Don't think the road was wet. Very strange as it's never happened before.

Sounds normal to me, under heavy braking a lot of cars snake. All the weight transfers to the front making the rear very light thus twitching about. With mine being quite light it snakes all over the shop under hard braking something like this.  :driver:

Light rear end when braking makes going around corners more fun. :-)

Cool. First time I've experienced it like that. What was cool was the car stayed within the lane quite neatly.

Light rear end when braking makes going around corners more fun. :-)
Not disagreeing there! But I was going in a straight line!

Why did you sell them then?

A string of bad luck & family illness put a strain on my finances having to travel to / from Uk / Germany.
Allsorts happened at once, when I think about it it has been a sh*t year.
